She has spent most of her time living in her home town of Falls Church. She began to develop an interest in the arts and performing while studying dance at Washington School of Ballet. In school, she performed in a variety of shows, she achieved early success with her dance career. In high school she performed in every show that the school put on and that is when she started acting instead of dancing. She even got her Equity card when she performed in a summer stock performance of Aida. After graduating, Louisa attended Carnegie Mellon University to study the art of drama. She didn't finish her degree as she quit after two years of studying in order to concentrate on professional acting. Louisa is the daughter of a large family. The mother of her child Lida Jeanne Wright, was American as was her father Robert "Bob" Henry Krause was of half-Japanese origin. Nathaniel Krause, her younger brother who is employed as a director for a film company is also a filmmaker. She likes to spend a lot of her free moments with her family, by going on trips to a woods and grilling. She feels a lot of emotional bond with her younger brother. Actually, she bought him a nearby house to allow them to have more time together. Louisa Krause's Career Louisa Krause started her professional acting career with no money with a goal in sight, simply to attract the attention of several big movie studios. The strategy she employed worked. In a Dark Dark House, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and other off-Broadway shows were her first shows in which she was a part. The latter half of 2007 saw her taking part in supporting roles for the films Babysitter and The Speed of Life. After a two year break from acting, she then made an appearance in the films Taking Woodstock and Toe to Toe after which she over the following two years, she focused on short films, but gained a lot of respect for her performance in the musical The Flick . In addition to her involvement in film, she is an actress with a lot of recognition. The most recent of her shows, The Girlfriend Experience was recognized by the Golden Globe Awards for her performance as Anna Garner.
