Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet and also played lead characters in Broadway shows including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She was first seen on television on Star Search at age 15 She has also appeared on Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally as a soloist with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish", her first solo disc, and her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster: live at the Caf Carlyle". Ball State University awarded her an Honorary Degree in 2011 She continues to instruct and guide members of the Department of Theatre and Dance. From March to date her new TVLand series "Younger", which was designed by Darren Star is a hit.
