Megan Gale
Gale was 18 when she took part in a modeling competition held she won in Perth. After years of modelling, Gale rose to fame when in 1999 was cast to appear in a series of ads for an Italian Telecommunications firm, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) She was part of the company's advertising until 2006.She was also employed as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she was featured in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale has been a model for Italian fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway on behalf of Mariella Burani as well as Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. (9) Gale also favours many Australian designers, such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. The year 2006 was the last time she was presenter for the Australian television awards, the Logies. Gale was let go of runway models in January 2008 after 15 years. The last time she walked the runway at the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney just a few days later. The last dress she donned was her Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the unreleased movie Justice League of America. Gale was back on the runway in March 2011 and completed her Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
